About Tri-County Caregiver Resource Center

The Resource Center was established to help Caregivers, Seniors, and their loved ones understand and navigate their healthcare options. We offer a variety of classes and educational workshops that empower seniors with resources and promote a proactive approach to healthcare planning. Through the resource center, you have access to experienced professionals who are true advocates. We’ll help you understand ALL of your options, as well as how to best vet available resources so that YOU can make the most informed decision for yourself.

Up Close & Personal

Welcome to the Tri-County Caregiver Resource Center. My name is Amy Cearley and I created the resource center in hopes of providing a place where caregivers can go and be educated on their options without being "sold to". There is nothing more difficult when caring for a loved one and being overwhelmed with navigating through the healthcare system. Our goal is to help families put a plan in place. We help them by educating families on what resources are available to them, when they may need certain resources, and how much these resources will affect them financially.

Dwight Mac Cearley — Fruitland Park, FL — Tri-County Caregiver Resource Center

Based on my personal experience in caring for my brother through his battle with ALS I found it to be frustrating for others to stand from the outside and tell me all the things I should be doing and what I was doing incorrectly. When you are in the moment of caring for the family sometimes you just want to make it through the day.

We at the resource center strive to educate and assist those in putting their own plan in place after being properly educated on all of their options. Stress can be our own worst enemy. Having a solid plan in place and not having to worry about the "What happens if?" can improve the health of not only the caregiver but the care recipient as well. No one wants to make these important decisions from a hospital bed. Most also don't want to rely on others to have to make these decisions for us. That's how the Resource Center can assist you. Call today, 352-775-2952.

Amy Cearley has a Master's Degree in Education from Denver University, a Bachelor's Degree in History & Political Science, and minor in Communication. In her early career she taught history, world religions, american government. and political science to high school students as well as continuing education to adults. While being the sole caregiver for her brother through the end of his life was a heartbreaking experience, it also filled Amy with a passion for helping other caregivers as they cared for their loved ones, and prompted her to open The Tri-County Caregiver Resource Center. The goal of the resource center is to Educate caregivers and provide them with resource options without being "sold to." Amy lives this mission by navigating the health care industry alongside of families every day as well as hosting numerous educational events in the community focused on supporting families and caregivers
